The theme of the new commercial is “Healing that Kyoto can offer.” For the first time, a traveler, who used to appear only as a narrator, appears in the video. The traveler is played by actress Sakura Ando, and the commercial follows a day in the life of a traveler. From the beginning of the film, the scenery unique to the ancient capital is shown from the traveler’s point of view, including alleyways, Japanese sweets, tableware, and powdered green tea, and her expression in the garden is unintentionally drawn in.(by Producer Dai Matsumoto)
