In May 2020, TYO launched “Remote World” as an “overseas remote shooting project” in which staff members conduct all aspects of an international project, from concept brainstorming to shooting and editing, without leaving Japan.
The global spread of COVID-19 has necessitated even filming-related work to be conducted remotely, and we are building a “new normal” for filming to meet the needs of new video content production.
Building on the networks and achievements that TYO has cultivated through numerous overseas location shoots in previous years, and in response to the worldwide acceleration of digital transformation, TYO has so far been able to remotely manage shoots in seven countries.
We have also received requests from the U.S., China, Australia, and African countries to manage shoots in Japan, and TYO is now at the stage of applying technology for acting as local staff for remote shoots. TYO pursues a variety of video production qualities, transcending the barriers of distance, time differences, and language.
